Learn to Post A Comment

Wanna write a response to one of the articles or entries on this 'blog'? Click on "# comments" or 'Post a Comment' at the bottom of the entries. Not sure how it works? Practice using this entry (directions below) to let me know what you think of this blog.

See where it says 'Post A comment' all the way at the bottom of this article and underneath all the comments people have made? To write your own response to this article, just click 'Post A Comment'. A new screen should pop up. (Note: some articles will not show all the comments-but at the end of the article it will say how many comments have been written. Something like this: '3 comments' or '0 comments'. Click that line, and follow the same directions below to write your response)

At the top of the new screen are the comments other people wrote in response to this article. At the bottom, there is a large open box. Type your comment into the box - I'd love to know what you think of the site!

Once you've finished writing, look below the box to where you can 'choose an identity'. This is where you get to take credit for your pearls of wisdom, or you can opt to be anonymous. To take credit, click on 'other' then type your name (or nickname, or mysterious designation like "weeping in 2 horatio") into the box. (Note: If you have a website, you can type in your website address - but you can also just leave this box blank.)
If you want to be anonymous, just click anonymous.

Now that you've finished writing your comment and choosing your identity, click on "Publish Your Comment".

Look! The number of comments should have gone up by 1! And, your comment has now been added to everyone elses.

Now you're ready to comment all over the place. Click 'home' at the bottom of this page to return to the most-up-to-date Horatio Street News, and don't forget to respond and let me know what you are thinking!
